The New You

I’ve been told that people are in our lives for a reason, a season, or for a lifetime.  God is always seeking to evolve us so that we will ultimately be conformed to the image of His son, Jesus Christ. Many of have experienced hurts, pains and disappointments from childhood and these experiences transfer into our adulthood. When you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, He cleanses us through the process called sanctification. This is not just a “one shot” deal, it is a lifelong process.

God cleanses us as we yield to the Holy Spirit and consistently listen to the Word of God. The more we listen to the truths in the Word of God, it cleanses us from the filth of our past and present as we begin to have a new sense of who we are in our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Always remember, anything new pushes you beyond your comfort zone.  So, if you are looking to explore a new career, job opportunity, business or relocate to another city or state listen to the voice of God and allow Him to direct you. I’ve learned God’s vision for our lives is bigger than ours.

 Let’s Talk:

  1. What does it mean to you “people are in your life for a reason, a season, or for a lifetime?
  2. How do you determine who is in your life for a reason, season, or a lifetime?
  3. How have you evolved in becoming the individual God desires you to be? What have been your challenges? What have been your successes?
